Lancaster, Pa. (August 12, 2013) - As part of the company’s vision to invest in employees, Auntie Anne’s awarded scholarships to six students from across the country for their outstanding achievement both in and out of the classroom. These individuals were selected for their strong promise and commitment to achieving high personal and academic standards.
The recipients of the Auntie Anne’s 2013 scholarship, each receiving $5,000 are: Tanisha Stoute from Edison, N.J., crewmember at Woodbridge Center Mall; Kimberly Welsh, from Lonaconing, Md., crewmember at Country Club Mall; Natasha Aubry from Chuluota, Fla., crewmember at Orlando Fashion Square Mall; Taylor Bruno from Olmsted Falls, Ohio, crewmember at Westfield Great Northern Mall; Patricia Pacheco from Yakima, Wash., crewmember at Wenatchee Valley Mall; and Julie Schmidt from Manheim, Pa., daughter of Auntie Anne’s corporate employee, Judy Schmidt.
Now in its eighth year, the scholarship program is open to Auntie Anne’s employees and their immediate families. Applicants must have completed the first semester of their senior year of high school, or have been accepted or enrolled in a post-secondary program at an accredited college or university, vocational or technical school, culinary institution, or other approved place of higher learning.

Auntie Anne’s, Inc. also offers a Mortgage Assistance Program (MAP) for eligible store managers. MAP award money can be used for a portion of a down payment, closing costs, permanent interest rate buy down, or any combination of the three.
