Auntie Anne's Joins Alex's Lemonade Stand in the Fight Against Childhood Cancer

Since September 2011, Auntie Anne’s has partnered with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer causes and cures. Established in 2005 to continue the work of its’ founder, Alexandra “Alex” Scott, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation works to find a cure for the disease that ultimately took her life. Auntie Anne’s is proud to partner with ALSF as we help support research, prevention, and treatment for pediatric cancer. 

In our first year of partnering with ALSF we have raised more than $150,000 largely through coin canister donations, local pretzel rolling contests, and our Auntie Anne's C.A.R.E.S. Golf Tournament. We were delighted and honored to be one of the top 100 donors to ALSF in 2011, but the mission continues. 

A Legacy of Charitable Giving

Building on our founder's vision to give back, Auntie Anne’s is committed to serving others. Both Support Center employees and franchise partners and crewmembers are actively involved in making a difference in our local communities through an investment of volunteer time and financial resources. Both Support Center employees and franchise partners and crewmembers are actively involved in making a difference in our local communities through an investment of volunteer time and financial resources.

Auntie Anne’s former charitable partnerships include First Book and Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). During our partnership with First Book, Auntie Anne’s donated nearly 50,000 new books in communities where we live and work. Our ten-year partnership with CMN raised more than $4.5 million towards children’s hospitals.     

In addition to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, Auntie Anne’s franchise partners support the local community through our national partnership with Food Donation Connection. This food donation program enables stores to donate surplus pretzel products through a hunger relief organization, such as a rescue mission or after-school program. Auntie Anne’s is pleased to work with Food Donation Connection to feed those in need, reduce food waste, and improve employee morale.
