LANCASTER, Pa. (June 3, 2013) – Auntie Anne's, the franchisor of the world’s largest hand-rolled soft pretzel chain, recently honored its leading national suppliers and supplier representatives for their dedication to the growth and prosperity of the company.

Recognized as Outstanding Suppliers of the Year were Scotsman Ice Systems, Good Food, Inc. and D&D Retail Construction.  The three suppliers were selected for their commitment to providing quality products and equipment as well as timely and professional customer service to Auntie Anne’s franchise partners.

Scotsman Ice Systems has provided ice dispensers to the Auntie Anne’s system since 1990, an essential piece of equipment that can create production disruptions if not installed and repaired with attention to detail. Good Food, Inc. has supported the Auntie Anne’s franchise system for more than 23 years, distributing custom dry blend mixes to Auntie Anne’s more than 995 domestic stores. D&D Retail Construction built ten Auntie Anne’s store locations in 2012, representing double the construction projects of any other contractor in the system, in addition to completing the projects on time and on budget.

Three representatives from Auntie Anne’s supplier base were recognized as Outstanding Supplier Representatives of the Year for their superior customer service to Auntie Anne’s.  The honorees include: Tim Herman, Account Representative, Natrium Products for seven years; Andy Smith, Sensient Flavors, Senior Account Manager for two years; and Katherin Gabron, Marketing Representative for Coca-Cola Refreshments since 2007.

Although the flagship Auntie Anne’s was opened at a farmer’s market in Downingtown, Pa., pretzel lovers can now find locations in malls, outlet centers, colleges and universities, transportation sites, military bases, and other non-traditional shopping and entertainment centers. An award winning franchise system that is owned by FOCUS Brands Inc., Auntie Anne's received the 2012 ZAGAT® top five most popular quick-refreshment chains honor, ranked number one in the category of hand-rolled soft pretzels by Entrepreneur's Franchise 500, and was granted the World-Class Franchise® honor (the most prestigious award in franchising) for the past seven years. The foundations of Auntie Anne's success lie in collaborative partnerships and a targeted growth strategy focused on the best locations and partners.
